Bears Beat

On another perfect Sunday for football, the Orange Swarm punished the lowly 49ers and basically made them look like a high school powder puff team to pick up their 7th straight victory. It seemed as if the totally beautiful Bears offense had an average field position on the San Fran 25 yard line in the first half because the Bears D is so DAMN SCARY GOOD! That's of course except for Urlacher, we all know he's overrated-thanks Sports Illustrated, love that bulletin board material you morons!

With 9er turnover after turnover in the first half, Grossman and the rest of the Bears O poured on 41 points like butter. Sexy Rexy hit Desmond Clark for 2 touchdowns and MOOSE!!! added another for shits and giggles.  Rex had erased his aberration of a game two weeks ago by going 23-29 for 252 yards, 3 touchdowns and 0 INT's for a passer rating somewhere in the high 130s.  Robbie good as Gould stayed perfect with 20 figgies on the year thus far.  Thomas Jones scorched the nonexistent 9er D with 111 yards and a TD and the Franchise also checked in with a TD on 26 yards rushing, mostly just spelling Jones.

Bears D is starting to get pretty sick at home. They forced 5 turnovers with all the usual suspects involved and the Offense was able to capitalize on those takeaways for 28 points. Urlacher's highlight-reel tip to himself interception with a blocker draped on him was fantastic and we also recovered 4 fumbles! Two of which were forced by Todd Johnson, nicely stepping in for the injured Mike Brown.  Even Tommie Harris got to run with the pigskin after recovering another Alex Simth fumble and barreling for 17 yards.  Some people may say that the 9ers played a bad game, but there is a reason for that, and that reason is the speedy, swarming, and tenacious Bears Defense.   Hopefully, we can carry the same intensity on the road, but we get another tune up game with the Dolphins next weekend.

Lets take care of business next Sunday when we get a visit from the struggling Miami dolphins who come off a bye week and will be rested.  Hopefully the Bears can go to 8-0 after next week, stay healthy and then we get ready for our tough 3 game stretch on the road.

Enjoy it Bears Fans!
